Small (as in teeny tiny) harvests are still harvests right?
Yeah…it’s that time of year again! But hey, at least there’s some color involved, right? 😉
Harvest totals for the week:
- Mint = 2 oz
- Radishes (Easter Egg) = 5 oz
- Strawberries = 2 oz
- Tomatoes (2 Yellow Taxi) = 7 oz
- Eggs = 75
Hope you have a wonderful day!
Happy harvesting!
xoxo

No harvest is ever too small. And with 75 eggs I don’t know if I would consider that small!

Lol…yes, I guess when the eggs are counted in, the totals increase exponentially 🙂 I do love our eggs!

All harvests (no matter what size) count as harvests. My harvest total… 2 strawberries LOL.

Two strawberries is plenty when they’re home grown and deliciously sweet 😉

Tomatoes for your salad and strawberries for dessert. Can’t complain about that.
Bee Girl
True story, Dave. It is the small things that count and even small harvests are worthy of feeling grateful 🙂

I am still waiting for my first tomato to appear.
Your girls are still producing abundantly, 75 eggs in one week, is this a record?
Bee Girl
I will have to check my records! I’m not sure that it’s a record, but it’s probably close!

Small but still bigger than mine!! And tomatoes, it’s always a good week in the garden if there are tomatoes!!
Bee Girl
I honestly couldn’t agree more! Tomatoes are the best!

Yes, they most certainly do! Your harvest may be small but you had some real diversity in it too. Love that you have a small tomato already. Lucky you!

We have been thoroughly enjoying the couple of tomatoes we’ve gotten so far! Starting tomatoes inside in February is incredibly helpful!

What a yummy looking dessert! Yes, tiny is still a great harvest! Especially when you have a tomato!

Oh yes, that cheesecake was absolutely divine! I’ll post a recipe for it soon because we tweaked the traditional recipe due to a lack of supplies and it still came out wonderfully!
