We’ve set the intention this year to build our soil up. You know, all the tons of soil we’ve brought/hauled/shoveled in? Yeah, that soil 😉
We figure that, since we plant heavily and harvest amazingly from our humble soil, we should give back a little. So, compost, compost tea, soil builder, a little bit of new top soil and a lot of TLC is going into each of our beds this spring as we continue to get ready for the big planting push.
Now, if our weather would just stabilize a bit so we could actually plant, we’d be all set!
What are you doing in the garden this spring to get ready for planting season? How do you take care of your garden and soil for the long run? We’re such newbies on this plot, I’d love to hear your tips and tricks!
xoxo,
M
