We’ve got three extension cords running the property to power the baby monitor and a shop light down in the Goat Barn…
The Emergency Care Bin down in the Garden Shed (which is right next to the goat’s yard)…
And clothes, jackets, hats, and headlamps all laid out on the Dining Room table.
We’re checking vaginas and udders, pin tendons and facial expressions.
We’re not sure when each lady will kid, but we’re guessing Mama will go first, followed by Lucy, then Ethel.
We’re also spending copious amounts of time in the Goat Yard with the ladies just hanging out, spending time, giving them rubs and love, and talking to Ember about all that might happen when the kids finally come.
I’d like to think she’s well prepared, and my fingers are crossed for smooth labors and births 🙂
In the meantime, before all the cute goat kid pics and videos appear in this space, here’s a few human kid videos of us preparing her for the goat kids.
I hope you enjoy the cuteness/sweetness/wonderful newness of it all as much as we have.
Wishing you a lovely weekend full of all the good your heart can hold!
xoxo,
M
