{this moment} ~ A Friday ritual. Inspired by SouleMama. A single photo – no words – capturing a moment from the week. A simple, special, extraordinary moment. A moment I want to pause, savor and remember. If you’re inspired to do the same, leave a link to your ‘moment’ in the comments for all to find and see.
OK, I usually follow the rules of “no words” here, but I have to explain what was happening in this photo because my sweet Sprout is such a tree-hugger!
Notice the missing bark in the top photo?
Now, notice the piece of bark in her little hand in the above photo?
Well, as we were sitting outside a few days ago, she noticed that there a few spots on the tree that were missing some bark. She sat for the longest time just looking at and touching the bare spots, looking at me questioningly, and babbling to the tree. Then, she found the missing pieces of bark laying at the base of the tree and tried for a very long to replace them, as gentle as can be.
Sweet, sweet girl.
Such a nature lover. Such a tree hugger 🙂
Happy weekend, Friends!

what a cutie!
What a little sweetheart! Too precious. Thanks for stopping by. 🙂
What a very sweet SWEET moment! Just precious. Children are so in-tuned with nature and their surroundings. They can teach us so much if we let ourselves be humble.
For our moment this week, you just KNOW winter is coming when you wake up to sunrises like these!
Have a great week-end.

awww She looks genuinely concerned. It’s wonderful to see children outdoors, does my heart good.
Homemade Bread Slow rise in a cool area gives the bread time to develop flavor. It rises overnight on a cast iron pan in the cool kitchen. Early in the morning, I bake it in a hot oven. Warm bread. Warm kitchen
