She was born at home via a water birth and with the help of our phenomenal mid-wife, her amazing apprentice and one of our dearest friends at 6:04pm on Monday, October 7th. She weighed in at 7 pounds of absolute perfection and is 21 inches long. Mom did a wonderful job bringing her into the world and truly, I could not be more proud of her.
Our days have since been filled with eating, sleeping, lots of diaper changes and the slow meeting of family, friends and pets. Many hours have been spent simply soaking in every nook and cranny of her tiny body and getting to know who our little girl is. We are beside ourselves with love and adoration for her.
It really is amazing to rediscover how much love can fit inside a mothers heart.
