Homemade Holidays

Alright, with the Holidays behind us and all gifts officially given, I can finally share a few of the items we pulled together and created this year for our family and friends…

With many Littles running around and on their way, there were many hats crocheted for little heads…

Twin hats for twin girls!   Now, these girls will have to wait a bit for these
hats, but when they arrive, I am hopeful they will be perfect!

Dino hats for two little cousins
(plus one not photographed for another amazing little boy)!

I also crocheted fingerless gloves/wrist warmers for many of our friends and family…

Then, we made, mixed, cooked and gathered up some homemade vanilla extract, herbal tea (mint, chamomile and lemon balm all grown in our garden), various jams and a bit of honey & comb to sweeten the deal!

Now…are you ready for the kicker???  A couple of months ago, our good friend Alexis shared an idea for homemade, fabric (washable and reusable) rolls of “paper” towels…Tool Lady fell in love and decided to sew them for all of our family and a few of our friends!  It was quite an undertaking, but was well worth it in the end!  And, let me tell you…picking out fabric is not only fun, but it can be incredibly addicting!  Holy cow!  There will be a proper post about these eventually, since Tool Lady never does anything exactly as it’s laid out..she always tweaks things to make them her own 😉

Hope you all enjoyed a bit of holiday crafting!  I know we did 🙂
xoxo,
M
