Last weekend we strung some rope from our two raised beds at the end of our porch up through the slats in our portal (about 10-12 feet high) in an effort to give our Trail of Tears Beans something to hold on to.
I am really happy with the way it looks now and can’t wait for the beans to grab on and start their climb!

That looks fabulous, I very much hope you post pictures once the beans have grown too.
Thanks! There will definitely be more pictures as the vines make their steady progression 🙂
Very creative idea. I can’t wait to see this all filled out.
Thanks! I’m looking forward to it as well 🙂
It’ll grow into a very nice arbor. 🙂
Thanks! I sure hope so!
I thought about using beans, sweet potatoes, or other vining crops to shade our patio during the summer. Just haven’t figured out the support structure yet.
Ooohhh…I can’t wait to see what you come up with 🙂
