Does our garden pay for itself?
The honest answer is…Not yet. But it will! You can see our original Farm Economics post here and my ongoing tally for each year on this page.
In 2012 (the first year we kept track after adding everything up, we paid back our “debt” and earned an extra $10.89. Not ideal, but at least we didn’t end the year in the red 🙂 The payback for everything we’ve put into our garden, chickens and bees won’t happen overnight, but it will happen! Stay tuned.
