Anyone who knows me, even just a little, probably knows that I absolutely love seeds! Well, I’ve now received 3 separate envelopes of seeds in the mail and I’m just beside myself with excitement! I know, I know, it’s going to be MONTHS before I can plant any of them, but that’s beside the point! The point is, they exist 🙂
So, what seeds did I get and where’d they come from?
- Dave at Our Happy Acres, as part of his Happy Yummy Pepper Seed Giveaway and experiment, sent me two packets of seeds. I love experiments, so this should be fun!
- Hot Happy Yummy Pepper Seeds
- Sweet Happy Yummy Pepper Seeds
- Daphne at Daphne’s Dandelions sent me three packets of seeds just because 🙂 How kind is that?! Amazing!
- Cherokee Purple Tomatoes
- Little Gem Lettuce
- Trail of Tears Pole Beans
- Mary at The Edible Garden sent me some of her seeds as part of her Seedy Saturdays giveaway.
- Yellow Beets
How cool, and organized, are these bloggers?!? I, on the other hand, don’t feel as though I’ve gotten my seeds together enough to try to offer any of them in a giveaway. Yet, that is. I might still try, because if any of you out there love seeds as much as I do, I would love to share some seed love!

Allison – Ooohhh…seed catalogs are dangerous! I always just want everything! I’m like a kid in a candy store!!!
Hanni – I’m seriously considering it!!! 🙂 I’d never heard of wintersowing before now (thanks)! I’ll have to try it out!
Kelli – Definitely sweet 😉
Jaime – Thanks! I always enjoy the planning of it all…especially since there’s always so much that’s been learned from the previous season!
Oh yes!!! You should host a seed swap…I love doing those and getting that packet of happiness in the middle of the winter. Have you ever tried wintersowing? I usually sow all my flowers in the winter and it’s a great way to help cure the winter garden itch. 🙂
Wow, very cool! My Fedco seed catalog should be coming any day now, and I can’t wait to look through it, making plans for spring. It looks like you have some excellent varieties to try. It will be fun to see your bounty next year!

sweet!
Don’t you just love that about fellow gardeners! I was flipping through the first seed catalog that came in the mail last night and I will never use all the seeds that come in one packet so I will for sure make some of them available to others 🙂
