Hot Chickens?

With the temperature continuing to rise, I have just a little PSA for you:

If you’re hot, your chickens are probably hot, too!

Give ’em some watermelon to munch on, throw some ice cubes in their water, make sure they have some shade.  They’ll be happier for it and so will you 🙂

  1. I was giving my chickens watermelon and I was told that it wasn’t good for them. Any truth to this?

    1. The seeds and flesh are totally fine, just take away the rind (though mine just lose interest once all the good stuff is gone).
