On Thursday evening, Tool Lady and I headed north to visit with a very good friend and her family for a few days. It’s amazing how many wonderful moments can be shared and captured in such a short period of time!

- The Lego Tray Tool Lady made for the now five year old Birthday Boy
- Inspiration found in a new-to-me Granny Square pattern
- Cuddle time with a dog named Q who used to just bark and bark and bark at me
- Hand holding with a sweet, beautiful and super smart 11 month old
- Delicious lunch and amazing chai from The Huckleberry, a new favorite restaurant
- Pizza and chocolate cake to celebrate the Birthday Boy
- A few precious moments shared in a (chilly) sun spot at the park
- The road home and the beautiful CO mountains
- Coming home to find Apricot blossoms and the promise of spring
