Looking really great, did you ever plant out your pallet planters?

      Thanks, Liz!

Now the pallet beds have been another story! I will do a proper post about them this week sometime since there are several layers to the silliness. Long story short, they are partially planted :-/

Looks great after just 2 months. The only thing I’m worried about is your corn. I don’t think you have enough there for cross-pollination, so you may end up with very few ears or stunted ears. You really have to plant quite a bit.

Thanks for your concern! We have planted about this much for the past couple of years and it’s been OK. We don’t get a huge yield, but it’s still pretty good for our small space and they seem to pollinate well 🙂 This bed is planted bio-intensively with sweet corn, bush beans and beets and they’re all in there pretty close. It’s a big experiment 🙂

Nice! Those are some high beds! It’s wonderful when things start to grow, isn’t it?

Oh, so incredibly wonderful! Now I just can’t wait to start harvesting form them! 😉
