Weekend thoughts:

I love living “out in the boonies” and appreciate our itty bitty village full of diverse and kind people more than I ever might have imagined.

I am grateful for our neighbors who offer good conversations, excess firewood, the sharing of skills, and the opportunity to engage with the sweetest horses and cows (surely) in the whole County.

Being all the way out here is never not worth the drive.

I truly don’t think I can ever live in a city again. I think it would crush my soul and turn me into a horrible person.

That is all (for now) 🙂

xoxo,
M

I AGREE! We had to move to the city to care for family 18 months ago, and it has just about driven me crazy! The only reason I have lasted this long is that we are actively working on moving back to the homestead, hopefully one day very soon. Oh, that glorious day!
