I’ve been waiting for it for days. Weeks, really.
The first real snow fall.
It probably won’t be much, and it surely won’t stick around for long (this time), but man am I ready for some snow!
Apparently it’s dumping all around us, though we’ve only seen a dusting so far. However, it’s supposed to snow for the next several hours, so I am hopeful I’ll wake up tomorrow morning to a winter wonderland instead of the tired browns of summer’s fallen.

I love the first snow fall! (and all the rest) We are having a very warm November here though. Our protected spot has had nothing but patchy frost and I haven’t even had to put away my hose and the ducks pond yet!

Since we’re new to the area, we have no idea what to expect! We’re further north but we’re at a lower elevation so who knows?! It’ll be fun to watch it all unfold, though, for sure 🙂
