Howl at the Moon!

Howl at the Moon!

It all started when Akuna, in what I can only imagine was an attempt to escape the property over a portion of barbed wire fencing, sliced one of her toe pads straight open creating a deep and painful gash that has required all kinds of TLC and daily first aid…

And continued with the flat tire that was luckily caught the evening we ran over a screw and not the next morning in the rush of leaving the house, but still, flat tires suck.

And then there’s the truck that was taken in for regular maintenance only to be told it needed a whole new set of brakes…

Which we agreed to despite the cost because…well…they’re brakes!

But then the guys at the dealership knocked off the side mirror while running it through the car wash and didn’t have a replacement immediately available so we drove around with the mirror duct taped to the truck for days.

Yeah…the Universe must be laughing at all of us little humans down here struggling against the cosmic changes happening this week, because man, it’s been a doozy! And, according to social media,  conversations with family and friends, and all of the accidents and stalled vehicles I’ve seen on the roads lately, it seems as though it’s been a doozy across the board for many of you out there, too!

With the full moon building, Mercury being in Retrograde, people freaking out about the end of the world crashing down upon us (yes, this is a thing, again), and any number of other forces and theories I won’t pretend to understand, I’m ready for a shift in whatever form it takes, and am hopeful that tomorrow’s magical moon will help!

Tomorrow night’s moon is set to give quite the spectacular show with not only a full moon, but a super moon to go along with the Blood Moon/eclipse.

So, in healing and in celebration, we will have a few friends over to eat some food, drink some beer or whiskey by the fire, observe the changes the moon goes through, and possibly even howl at it a bit.

How about you?  Did you have a doozy of a week, too? How are you going to observe the eclipse?

xoxo,
M

Funny, I hit a curb and had a flat tire just a few days ago. Stuck on the side of the road for over an hour. This is interesting perspective on it. And, yes, we are having a moon/fire pit party too. 🙂 Enjoy yours!

Looking at the bright side, maybe worse things could have happened had you not been stuck on the side of the road? Enjoy your moon party and all of its magical gorgeousness!!!
